When is Fallout 3 coming out?
Supposedly, by Fall 2008.

What systems will Fallout 3 be on?
Currently, Windows PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

Will Fallout 3 be multiplayer?
Nope. You're on your own.

What are the system requirements for PC?
To be determined.

Who's developing Fallout 3?
Bethesda Softworks, since 2004. You know, the guys that made Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

What happened to Interplay?
They had money problems, and had to sell off the rights to their titles. Fallout went to Bethesda, with the exception Interplay gets dibbs on a Fallout MMO (massive multiplayer online).

So Interplay isn't dead?
No. Take a look at their site. With the Fallout sale, Interplay was able to pay off almost ALL of their debts and recently announced development their next game, a Fallout MMO.

What type of gameplay is expected?
Unlike Interplay's 2-D top-down turn-based Fallout 1 & 2, Fallout 3 will introduce first-person and third-person camera views. Players will be able to switch back and forward as desired. We speculate that Fallout 3's flow will be a lot like playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion.

Is process of creating your character similar to Fallout 1 & 2?
Very much so. During your youth in the vault, you recieve a booth entitled "You're Special," where you will set the character's aptitudes - Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility, and Luck.

Are skills and perks the same?
They will be similar. Player will choose three "specialty" skills and receives a perk every other level.

Will that cool targetting system still be in the game?
If you mean V.A.T.S., Vault-Tec Assisted Targetting System- then yes. It will remain almost the same as the previous games including a pausing function.

Bloody Mess was my favorite perk...
If you like blood and gore, Fallout 3 will not disappoint you. In fact, we're quite looking forward to making some huge messes in 3-D for a change.

What about health, armor class and radiation?
The health system will be revamped, as well as the effects of radiation and how it is dealt with.

Will there be Xbox Live Achievements?
Yes. From what we've heard, they will be based around "karma titles."

How interactive is the enviroment?
As far as what you may target, you're not just limited to enemies. We've heard reports of making explosions from objects in your surroundings, such as generators, or tanks of gas.

Where/When does the game take place?
Centralized around Washington, D.C., and spreading throughout Maryland and Virginia. Takes place in 2277 - 200 years after the nuclear war.

How does the story start?
The player character inhabits Vault 101, which hasn't opened its doors in 200 years. But somehow, your father has gone missing with no clues left behind. Naturally, the character must set out into the wasteland and find daddy. Check out our article on the story.

How many towns will there be?
We've gathered about about 5 or 6. So far, the names include Rivet City, Megaton, Springvale, Tenpenny Towers, and Paradise Falls. Travel between towns is through the Metro tunnels.

Is the Brotherhood of Steel Involved?
What would Fallout be without those crazy guys who worship technology? Simply put, yes, the Brotherhood remains active with Fallout 3. You will encounter them the first time via the Lyons' Pride Platoon.

What type of enemies are we going to be making a mess of?
The list probablay won't end. You'll be seeing enemies from previous games including Super-Mutants, who happen to be the humans' biggest threat in Fallout 3 (go figure!).
